A DC servo motor is a specialized type of motor designed for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity, and acceleration. Principles of Operation:

GEAR RATIO:
A gear ratio of 12T:36T means that for every 12 teeth on the smaller gear (12T), the larger gear (36T) has 36 teeth. This creates a 1:3 gear ratio, meaning the smaller gear must complete three full rotations for the larger gear to rotate once. This configuration reduces speed while significantly increasing torque, making it ideal for applications that require high force with controlled motion.
